Construction joints. These joints are used in civil works to unite two elements that are constantly stretching the heat, shrinking by cold, vibrating with vehicular traffic or moving with the burden. They can also be used to separate buildings they crash or to recharge each other during earthquakes or for possible inclinations with the passage of time. Another use is to cover separations of the floors of multi-level parking lots to prevent water from seeping or to provide continuity on the floor with joints that are placed between the slabs.
